From Investing.com:

BAE Systems will resume production of M777 lightweight howitzer structures after signing a $50 million deal with the U.S. army. The company will work with UK and U.S. suppliers for titanium structures and plans to start deliveries in 2025. Interest in the M777 gun system has increased globally, with major structures made in Britain and assembly in Mississippi. The weapons have been donated to Ukraine by Australia, Canada, and the U.S.

BAE Systems’ vice president, John Borton, emphasized the critical timing of restarting production as howitzers are deployed in Ukraine. The contract offers new and existing users the opportunity to join a new M777 production initiative and benefit from a hot production line and economies of scale.
