Pop icon Britney Spears denies rumors of new albums, stating she will never return to the music industry and that she is now writing music for other people. This was made clear in an Instagram post on Wednesday where she also dismissed false claims about her new album. Last full album in 2016 was “Glory.”

Spears has retired from her own music career before, but continued to release singles afterward. Her long-time manager resigned in 2021 after she expressed no interest in resuming her career while still under conservatorship. However, following her release from conservatorship, she confessed to being scared of the music business on Instagram last year.
