General Motors unveiled the Cadillac Elevated Velocity, a new concept car for the luxury crossover segment. The all-electric vehicle features a lifted yet elegant design, multiple driving modes, and a focus on high-speed off-road capabilities. It builds on Cadillac’s luxury EV portfolio that includes the Lyriq and Optiq.

Concept vehicles like the Elevated Velocity help gauge customer interest and showcase future directions for brands, but they are not meant for sale. The car continues Cadillac’s Opulent Velocity design principles and is part of GM’s goal to offer a full lineup of EVs alongside gas-powered cars.

The concept car offers various user experience modes, including “welcome mode” with lifting gull-wing doors and interior lighting. “Elevate mode” becomes autonomous with a transformed interior for relaxation, while “velocity mode” features lighting for exhilaration. Different drive modes enhance performance on and off-road, with improved visibility in challenging conditions.

Cadillac’s Elevated Velocity concept car features an exterior color inspired by glacier ice and a striking red interior. The cabin includes red leather on seat cushions and flooring, with a red fabric covering seat uppers and instrument panel. The vehicle aims to provide a luxurious and immersive driving experience for consumers.
