Corn prices closed with minimal change on Thursday, supported by bulls. The national average Cash Corn price rose by 3/4 cent to $3.57 1/4. USDA reported private export sales of 136,000 MT to South Korea and 132,000 MT to Spain for new crop. Export Sales showed net reductions of 88,686 MT for old crop corn, with Japan and Spain as buyers. New crop sales reached 2.04 MMT, the second-highest for the marketing year.

Brazil’s corn crop estimate increased to 137 MMT, with a significant rise in the second crop. A South Korean importer bought 65,000 MT of corn with an undisclosed origin. Argentina’s corn area in main regions is projected to increase by 15 to 20% for 2025/26. Corn futures closed at $3.75 for Sep 25, $3.97 1/4 for Dec 25 (unchanged), and $4.14 for Mar 26. New Crop Cash was $3.54 5/8.
