Fintech firm Payoneer partners with Stripe to enhance online checkout experiences for SMBs, expanding its Online Checkout service for cross-border transactions. The service upgrade, initially in Asia Pacific, will integrate buy now pay later services and digital wallets. Payoneer Checkout has achieved almost $1bn in annual volume and $30m in revenue by June 2025.

The collaboration aims to boost conversion rates, payment acceptance rates, reduce fraud instances, and provide more payment options for eCommerce customers. Payoneer’s chief growth officer highlights the combination of local market distribution with Stripe’s checkout technology to deliver unmatched value to customers. Payoneer previously acquired Easylink Payment in China and Skuad in Singapore.
