Vantage Data Centers plans to invest over $25bn in a mega-scale data center campus named Frontier in Texas. The campus will cover 1,200 acres, with ten data centers totaling 3.7 million ft², supporting ultra high-density racks exceeding 250kW and implementing liquid cooling for AI technologies.

Texas Governor Abbott praised the investment, which is expected to create thousands of jobs and boost the local economy. Vantage emphasized sustainability, with a closed-loop chiller system to minimize water usage for cooling and seeking LEED certification for the campus.

Vantage Data Centers North America president Dana Adams highlighted Texas as a critical market for AI providers. The Frontier campus will offer 1.4GW of GPU compute capacity, meeting the growing demands of customers. This investment marks a significant milestone for Vantage’s expansion in the region.
