US hot dog franchise Wienerschnitzel has signed two development agreements for eight new outlets in Spokane, Washington State, and Fort Worth, Texas. Franchisees Evan Carbonell and Paul Del Bufalo will lead the expansion into high-growth markets, with plans for new locations in Idaho and Texas. The brand’s growth is part of a strategic move to replicate franchise success stories in various US markets. Wienerschnitzel also recently entered the East Coast with its first Virginia locations. The franchise is exploring non-traditional growth avenues with upcoming locations in Walmart stores and a new three-store deal in southwest Washington, including a non-traditional outlet. With 340 current franchised locations across 13 states and more than 50 units in development nationwide, Wienerschnitzel continues to expand its presence.
