TV producer Nigel Lythgoe announced his decision to step down as a judge on “So You Think You Can Dance” amidst allegations of sexual assault from Paula Abdul and others. The 74-year-old, also co-creator and executive producer of the show, stated his focus on clearing his name and reputation. Abdul, in a lawsuit, accused Lythgoe of assaulting her twice. Lythgoe denied the allegations and pledged to fight them.
