ROHM Semiconductor has released a new reference design, REF67004, capable of controlling two commonly used power converter types. Analog-controlled power supplies are widely used in small- to medium-power industrial applications. ROHM’s LogiCoA Power Supply Solution integrates analog and digital control for efficient power utilization. The REF67004 boosts AC input using a Critical Conduction Mode PFC converter, followed by a Quasi-Resonant Flyback converter to deliver a regulated DC 24V output. It includes a logging function for operational data storage and analysis. The LogiCoA Power Supply Solution is suitable for industrial equipment and consumer devices with power requirements ranging from approximately 50W to 1kW.
