Silvaco Group Inc. announced the departure of CEO Babak Taheri after nearly seven years. Walden Wally Rhines has been appointed as the new CEO, effective immediately. Rhines, a member of Silvaco’s board of directors, previously served as CEO of Mentor Graphics Corporation and currently serves as President and CEO of Cornami, Inc. He is also Chairman of the board of directors of Qorvo, Inc. Rhines brings extensive experience in the semiconductor industry to his new role at Silvaco.
