NIO Inc. has launched the all-new ES8, a three-row SUV available for pre-orders in China. The model comes in two trims, with prices starting at RMB 416,800. The ES8 features NIO’s latest technologies, including a 102 kWh battery, dual motors, and a range of up to 635 km. NIO expects monthly deliveries to reach 25,000 units in the fourth quarter.
Tesla introduces the Model Y L in China, a six-seat version of its SUV, starting at RMB 339,000. Li Auto launches the Li i8, a six-seat family SUV with three trims priced between RMB 321,800 and RMB 369,800. NIO’s shares have outperformed the industry year to date but appear overvalued with a forward P/S ratio of 0.71.
