Consulting firm Alvarez & Marsal aims to expand its global capability center staff in India to 2,000 by 2028. Marquee companies like JPMorgan Chase and Amazon also have global centers in India. A&M plans to hire professionals from top institutions to enhance core business areas like transaction advisory and corporate restructuring.

The firm currently employs 700 people in Gurugram and plans to open another center in Bengaluru. A&M’s Indian centers work with units across six continents and focus on mergers and restructuring. The firm’s executive emphasized the importance of hiring experienced professionals rather than freshers for their Indian operations.
