WaterBridge Infrastructure, a midstream water management company, filed for a U.S. initial public offering, reflecting a surge in new listings. Cybersecurity firm Netskope and e-commerce company Pattern also submitted paperwork for IPOs. WaterBridge focuses on water infrastructure in the Delaware Basin, reporting a pro forma net loss of $38 million and revenue of $374.9 million in the first half of 2021.
With expectations of potential rate cuts, the IPO market is anticipated to remain strong into the fall. WaterBridge serves major oil and gas companies like BPX Energy and Chevron. The company plans to use proceeds from the offering to repay debt and for general purposes. J.P. Morgan and Barclays are the lead underwriters for the IPO, which will list on the NYSE under the symbol “WBI.”
