Cotton futures saw gains of 54 to 64 points, with December up 47 points for the week. Commitment of Traders data showed a net short position of 56,317 contracts. Export Sales data revealed a 25% decrease in commitments for 2025/26, lagging behind average sales pace. Cotlook A Index was down to 78.90 cents. ICE cotton stocks decreased by 532 bales. Oct 25 Cotton closed at 66.43, Dec 25 Cotton closed at 68.01, Mar 26 Cotton closed at 69.74. USDA’s AWP was up to 55.53 cents/lb.
