Alaska Airlines grounds Boeing 737 Max 9 fleet after section blows out midair

Alaska Airlines grounded its 65 Boeing 737 Max 9 planes after a section of one blew out midflight, forcing an emergency landing. The National Transportation Safety Board reported no serious injuries, but will investigate. The passenger version of the 737 Max 9 has over 5,000 flights scheduled for this year. United Airlines is also preparing to ground its Boeing 737 Max 9 aircraft for inspections.
