Martin Marietta Materials, Inc. (NYSE: MLM) and Quikrete Holdings have finalized an asset exchange agreement, with Martin Marietta receiving $450 million in cash and aggregates businesses producing 20 million tons a year in Virginia, Missouri, Kansas, and Vancouver. Quikrete will purchase Midlothian cement manufacturing facility, cement terminals, and North Texas ready-mix assets. The acquisition of Premier Magnesia, LLC on July 25, 2025, has strengthened the company’s product line based on magnesia. CEO Ward Nye expects a boost in long-term profits and projects $1.81 billion in Q2 2025 sales, $328 million in net earnings, and $630 million in adjusted EBITDA. Adjusted EBITDA estimate for full-year 2025 is now $2.30 billion, including Premier’s contributions.
