Anfield Energy Inc. has received approval for a 20-hole, 8,000-foot rotary drill program at the JD-7 open pit mine in Colorado. The program aims to collect geologic information, confirm resources, and consider expansion. Anfield is also working on reactivating the Shootaring mine and advancing other projects to contribute to domestic uranium demand.
The JD-7 open pit mine has had historical production and current mineral resources show significant uranium and vanadium grades. Anfield’s portfolio includes the Shootaring Canyon Mill in Utah and various conventional uranium assets in Arizona, Utah, and Colorado. The Company aims to become a top-tier energy fuels supplier through sustainable growth in its assets.
Anfield’s existing conventional uranium-vanadium project portfolio includes resources such as the Velvet-Wood Project in Utah and the West Slope Project in Colorado. The Company has completed a PEA for the Velvet-Wood Project, with inferred mineral resources that are considered too speculative for economic considerations. Anfield’s projects are all within a 200-mile radius of the Shootaring Mill, strategically located in a prolific uranium production area.
The Company’s technical disclosure includes mineral resource estimates for various projects, completed by qualified persons and based on NI 43-101 standards. Anfield’s historic mineral resource estimates were prepared prior to the Company acquiring interest in the properties and are not considered current mineral resources. Anfield’s focus remains on sustainable growth and contributing to domestic uranium supply to meet future energy demands.
