This week, Abercrombie & Fitch (ANF) and PVH will report Q2 results, despite weaker demand for premium apparel. ANF’s Q2 sales expected to increase 5% to $1.19 billion, with EPS down 9% to $2.27. PVH’s Q2 sales expected to be up 1% to $2.1 billion, with EPS dropping over 34% to $1.97. Both companies have attractive valuations, trading under 10X forward earnings. ANF and PVH have an “A” Zacks Style Scores grade for Value. While tempting to buy, Q2 reports and guidance will be critical for meaningful upside. Both stocks are a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold) and are desirable rebound targets.
