Gemini, the cryptocurrency exchange founded by the Winklevoss twins, surpassed Coinbase in the app store charts with a XRP-rewards credit card. Sensor Tower data shows Gemini at 16th place in the finance category, while Coinbase is at 20th in the US. Coinbase has over three times the daily trading volume of Gemini.

Gemini co-founder Tyler Winklevoss stated that “The flippening is accelerating” in an X post on Monday. On Aug. 6, Gemini was ranked 117 in the finance category, while Coinbase was at 26. App Store rankings are influenced by keywords, downloads, user reviews, app performance, and retention.

Ripple Labs CEO Brad Garlinghouse expressed excitement about the XRP rewards credit card in an X post. Coinbase ranks third among crypto exchanges by trading volume with $4.54 billion in the past 24 hours, while Gemini is at 24th with $382.49 million. Gemini recently filed for an IPO to list its Class A common stock on the Nasdaq Global Select Market.
