Chick-fil-A is expanding internationally with plans to open its first restaurants in the UK and Singapore. In the UK, the company will invest over $100m and open its first location in Leeds in 2025, aiming for five locations by 2027. In Singapore, the fast-food chain will begin operations in late 2025 with a $75m investment over ten years, led by a local owner-operator.

CEO Andrew Cathy expressed excitement for Chick-fil-A’s expansion into Europe and Asia, highlighting the brand’s commitment to great food, hospitality, and community impact. The company’s unique franchise model relies on local owner-operators who support their teams and communities. Currently, more than 200,000 team members work in over 3,000 Chick-fil-A restaurants in the US, Canada, and Puerto Rico.

Chick-fil-A also announced plans to open new locations in British Columbia, Canada, with five to seven restaurants expected by 2030. The brand is set to open eight new locations in Ontario and Alberta in 2025, marking the highest number of openings in Canada since entering the market in 2019. Since 2020, Chick-fil-A has launched 22 restaurants across Canada.
