Drydocks World, a DP World company, has secured an EPC contract from AMIGO LNG to build the world’s largest FLNG liquefaction facility in Dubai. With over 4.2 million tonnes per annum capacity, the facility will utilize natural gas from the US Permian Basin for LNG exports to Asia and Latin America.

The strategic location off Guaymas, Sonora, Mexico, will reduce shipping distances to Asia, lower costs and emissions, and establish a new LNG corridor. Drydocks World’s CEO highlighted this project as a milestone for Dubai, setting global benchmarks for floating LNG solutions and advancing the energy transition.

The EPC project will employ a modular build strategy to ensure smooth system integration, precision fabrication, and minimal environmental impact. LNG Alliance CEO emphasized the partnership’s focus on quality, production capacity, and environmental benefits of FLNG solutions for the world’s largest FLNG facility.
