Elon Musk announced the launch of a new AI software company called Macrohard to compete with Microsoft. The project aims to simulate software companies entirely with AI. Grok, Musk’s AI chatbot, revealed that Macrohard will offer specialized agents for coding, image generation, workflow automation, and more.

xAI filed for a trademark for Macrohard on August 1, for purposes including artificial production of human speech and text. Musk’s new venture joins his existing projects like Tesla, xAI, SpaceX, and political causes. Tesla’s board approved a $29 billion stock award to Musk, incentivizing his continued focus on the company amid new ventures.
