Foster Farms made the sale to focus on growing its core retail and foodservice channels, while Case Farms aims to enhance flexibility for customers. Case Farms’ CEO mentioned that the acquisition aligns with their growth plan, and Foster Farms’ CEO thanked the Farmerville team and community for their dedication. Foster Farms also announced plans to stop fresh turkey processing at its Turlock facility in California due to changes in market demand.
