The German market opened strong but slipped into negative territory, with the DAX down 0.09%. Auto stocks like Porsche and Siemens are up 1-2%, while Continental gained 1.5% after selling ContiTech. Infineon and other companies are also making gains. Thyssenkrupp Nucera’s shares rose 3% after being chosen as the electrolyzer supplier for a major project. However, E.ON is down 2.4% and other stocks like Qiagen and Vonovia are also in the red. In Europe, new car sales rebounded in July, with strong demand for electric and plug-in hybrid cars driving a 7.4% increase in registrations.
