Ulta Beauty exceeded expectations in Q2 with a 9.3% sales increase to $2.8 billion, driven by Space NK acquisition and strong comparable sales. Net income rose 3.3% to $260.9 million, and diluted earnings per share increased to $5.78, beating estimates. Full-year sales forecast raised to $12-12.1 billion, with EPS expected at $23.85-24.30.

Ulta’s acquisition of Space NK led to a rise in net income and earnings per share. Space NK, with 83 stores in the U.K. and Ireland, had a turnover of 196.5 million pounds in 2024. Ulta celebrates the opening of its first store in Mexico and plans to open in the Middle East.

Ulta’s strong Q2 performance was bolstered by fragrance, skin care, and wellness categories, with double-digit growth in fragrance. Makeup saw mid-single-digit growth, and hair care sales increased in the same range. The company remains focused on executing its Ulta Beauty Unleashed strategy for continued success.
