NexGen Energy Ltd. (NYSE:NXE) stock soared 5.91% to $7.88 per share on Friday following positive results from its drilling program at the Patterson Corridor East (PCE) discovery area. The exploration found high-grade uranium deposits at a shallow depth of 454.4 meters, making it potentially easier and cheaper to mine. Since the start of the year, NexGen has drilled 79 holes, discovering uranium in 48 of them. CEO Leigh Curyer stated that the program is delivering a generational uranium discovery with world-class potential.
