The German market rose after a U.S. court ruled many of Trump’s tariffs illegal, benefiting healthcare stocks like Novo Nordisk. The ruling allows tariffs to stay until mid-October. Novo Nordisk’s weight-loss drug Wegovy showed a 57% risk reduction for heart attack, stroke, or death compared to Eli Lilly’s medicines. The DAX was up 0.31%, with Sartorius up 3% and Siemens Energy down 2.2%. Economic data showed Germany’s Manufacturing PMI at 49.8, slightly below estimates. Euro area unemployment rate dropped to 6.2% in July, with 170,000 fewer people out of jobs compared to June.
