Blue Tokai Coffee Roasters, an Indian speciality coffee chain, has secured $25m in bridge funding from current investors for expansion. The funds will be used to grow retail operations, enhance infrastructure, and enter international markets like Dubai and Japan. Domestically, the capital will support new store openings and facility expansions in cities like Bengaluru. The company’s founders are adjusting growth targets in response to this funding. Blue Tokai currently operates in multiple Indian cities and has raised over $105m to date. They recently expanded into the Middle East through a partnership with Ambrosia Gulf, opening a café in the UAE.
