Spain’s Zamora Company partners with Monika Alcobev to introduce Licor 43 liqueur in India. Licor 43 Original, along with chocolate and crème brûlée variants, will be available. The imported spirits market is growing in India, and the companies aim to connect with discerning consumers seeking high-quality products. Licor 43 is also expanding to major cities in East India.

Monika Alcobev’s strong presence in North and West India, as well as an extensive distribution network in South India, will ensure Licor 43 reaches premium retail stores and regions where cocktail culture is flourishing. Licor 43, Martin Miller’s Gin, Villa Massa’s Limoncello and Amaretto will join Monika Alcobev’s distribution portfolio in India. The brand aims to cater to the evolving palate of Indian consumers and lead in modern mixology.

Licor 43 has debuted in Goa and Mumbai, with plans for further expansion in other markets. The Spanish liqueur is sold in over 80 countries globally. In 2024, Zamora Company saw a 9.8% increase in net profit to €19.5m ($22.7m) and a 56% decrease in debt to €23m. Total sales reached €260m, with Latin America and the United States driving growth.

Licor 43 accounted for 44% of Zamora’s revenue in 2024, with other brands contributing as well. The group’s key global markets include the US, Germany, the Netherlands, Brazil, and Mexico. Zamora Company’s global business now makes up 55.4% of total sales, with emerging markets offsetting contractions in more mature European markets.
