Private investment firm Bain Capital has agreed to acquire UK-based commercial insurance distribution platform Jensten Group from Livingbridge. Founded in 1986, Jensten Group serves small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the UK across retail, wholesale, and managing general agent segments. The deal’s financial terms have not been disclosed, but the acquisition will be carried out through Bain Capital’s insurance investment division. The company has completed 37 acquisitions, including 14 from its franchise network. The acquisition aims to continue Jensten’s M&A strategy and expand its regional footprint in the UK, pending regulatory approvals in the fourth quarter of 2025.
