Aldi’s CEO Giles Hurley emphasizes rewarding employees for their hard work, promising to never be beaten on pay. Which? named Aldi the UK’s most affordable supermarket in June 2025, beating Lidl by 35p. With an average cost of £131.52 for 79 items, Aldi tops the value chart.

In addition to the pay rise, Aldi plans to expand throughout the UK, creating 1,000 new jobs within its stores. This move aligns with their commitment to employee rewards and maintaining affordability.
