Hyundai Motor America reported a 12% increase in sales for August, selling 88,523 units compared to 79,278 units last year. The company achieved new sales records for various models, with EV sales soaring by 72%. Retail sales rose by 8%, with electrified vehicles accounting for 32% of the mix. For the third quarter, total sales improved by 13% to 168,066 units. Year-to-date, total sales grew by 11% to 607,346 units from 548,003 units in the same period last year.
