Wave of EV Makers Choose NVIDIA DRIVE for Automated Driving
From Nvidia:
Li Auto has chosen the NVIDIA DRIVE Thor centralized car computer to power its next-generation electric vehicles, while GWM, ZEEKR, and Xiaomi have adopted the NVIDIA DRIVE Orin platform for their AI-driven cars. The new AI car computer, DRIVE Thor, integrates autonomous driving and parking capabilities, driver and passenger monitoring, and AI cockpit functionality. Li Auto’s assisted-driving system, AD Max 3.0, delivers a safer, more comfortable intelligent driving experience using large AI models and is currently using two DRIVE Orin processors that provide 508 trillion operations per second. GWM will debut its self-developed, high-end intelligent-driving system, Coffee Pilot, in the first half of the year, while ZEEKR has launched the ZEEKR Luxury Sedan and Xiaomi has announced its first EV, the SU7 sedan, both powered by NVIDIA DRIVE Orin. NVIDIA DRIVE Orin, in production since 2022, offers up to 254 TOPS and is scalable to support level 2+ to level 5 self-driving capabilities.
