Nichols plc (NICL.L) reported a strong performance in 2023 with fiscal 2023 adjusted profit before tax slightly above market expectations. Total group revenue increased by 3.5% to 170.7 million pounds, with gross margins largely maintained despite inflationary pressures. Cash and cash equivalents at the end of December 2023 were 67.0 million pounds. Matthew Nichols will join the Board as a Non-Executive Director from 10 January 2024.
