– Tesla launches restyled Model 3 in North America, keeps prices unchanged. Performance variant removed, only rear-wheel drive and long-range variants now listed. Range of long-range variant updated to 341 miles, up from 333 miles. New price for rear-wheel drive is $38,990, long-range is $45,990.

– Restyled Model 3 launched in China with a higher price. Rear-wheel drive and long-range variants no longer eligible for $7,500 federal tax credit under new U.S. Inflation Reduction Act. Tesla delivers record number of electric vehicles in Q4, meeting 2023 target, but loses top EV maker spot to China’s BYD.
