DAX Little Changed As Recession Worries Weigh

German stocks remained steady as investors awaited U.S. inflation data and Q4 earnings from major U.S. banks. European Central Bank VP Luis de Guindos warned of a possible technical recession in the euro area in 2023. The DAX edged slightly higher at 16,692. The dollar saw a slight gain in currency markets, while U.S. Treasury yields eased. Wind turbine manufacturer Nordex SE’s stock fell despite receiving orders for 197 MW from UKA.
