Total Quality Logistics CEO Ken Oaks offered employees $2,000 to resign if they weren’t fully committed to the company. This follows a similar offer in 2015 where 53 employees accepted. It is unclear if this is a new program or a revival of past offers. TQL did not respond to requests for comment.

In 2023, Steam Logistics, a third-party logistics provider, also offered employees $2,000 to quit periodically over the years. President Steve Cox stated it’s meant to help employees move on if they’re not in it for the long term. Some have taken the offer due to changing market conditions.
