Robinhood Markets and AppLovin are set to join the S&P 500 on September 22, replacing Caesar’s Entertainment and MarketAxess Holdings. Investors speculated on the new additions, with Strategy missing out. S&P Dow Jones Indices has made recent changes, such as Interactive Brokers replacing Walgreens Boots Alliance in August. The rebalancing process occurs quarterly, with no changes announced in June. Caesar’s, Enphase, and MarketAxess will move to the S&P SmallCap 600. Robinhood’s share prices fell after the announcement.
