Apollo and RWE have teamed up in a new joint venture, with Apollo committing 3.2 billion euros in equity. The venture will be controlled by RWE and will hold RWE’s 25.1% stake in Amprion, a Transmission System Operator. The JV aims to support Amprion’s grid expansion program over the next decade. Apollo Partner Jamshid Ehsani has expressed plans to increase investment activity in Europe, focusing on countries like Germany, France, Italy, and the UK.
