Amazon to make no concessions to EU on $1.4 bln iRobot deal – Politico

Amazon.com has decided not to offer concessions to the European Commission for its planned $1.4 billion acquisition of iRobot Corp. EU antitrust regulators have expressed concerns that the deal may harm competition on Amazon’s online marketplace for robot vacuum cleaners in several European countries. The companies have until the end of Wednesday to address these objections. Amazon declined to comment.
