China Bourse May Reclaim 2,900-Point Level

The China stock market fell on Wednesday after gains were made earlier in the week. The Shanghai Composite Index dropped 0.54 percent to 2,877.70 points. Chinese companies such as banks, insurance, and energy saw share values decrease. The Dow, NASDAQ, and S&P 500 indices rose on Wednesday, and U.S. inflation data may pose a significant impact on upcoming interest rates. Also, there may be an expected decrease in the annual rate of core price growth, which could lead to Federal Reserve interest rate cuts. After a surprising increase in U.S. crude inventories, crude oil prices fell to $71.37 a barrel.
