Cerence AI and Microsoft team up to launch a hands-free mobile work AI agent for vehicles, integrating with Microsoft 365 apps like Copilot and Teams. The goal is to reduce distracted driving risks by offering natural voice interaction and tailoring functionality to driving situations. Users can collaborate and stay organized while on the go.
The upcoming AI agent will be integrated into the vehicle’s system and utilize Cerence xUI’s capabilities. It will adapt to the user’s current situation, offering a safer and less distracting experience whether driving, in an autonomous vehicle, or parked. Voice commands can compose messages, manage calendars, and create detailed documents.
