Fortitude Gold has received approval from the US Bureau of Land Management to proceed with the construction and operation of the County Line Mine gold project in Nevada. The project, located near the Isabella Pearl mine, will leverage existing infrastructure to expedite production. The mine boasts high-grade oxide gold and will be the second permitted ore source for Fortitude Gold. The company plans to start infrastructure work and aims to achieve an annual production rate of about 20,000 gold ounces from County Line over two years. The project is expected to be fully operational by mid-2026.
