Government spending prospects rose after Prime Minister Ishiba’s resignation. U.S. tariffs on Japanese autos are set to decrease by September 16. Takeda Pharmaceutical and Citizen Watch saw declines, while Advantest, Screen Holdings, and Tokyo Electron rose.
