Champagne major Lanson-BCC has opted not to provide annual financial forecasts after reporting a mixed first-half performance. Revenues increased by nearly 5%, attributed to a favorable price/product mix, despite lower volumes shipped. However, gross margins decreased, and income from ordinary operations fell by 11.9%. Net income dropped by 49.7% due to a 15.4% rise in finance costs. Export sales accounted for nearly half of revenues, with lower shipments to the US and Asia. The company cited the uncertain economic and geopolitical environment for not releasing full-year forecasts.
