Playtech plc reported a first half loss before tax of 58.8 million euros, compared to a profit of 21.5 million euros in the prior year. Loss per share was 25.4 euro cents, down from a loss of 18.0 cents. Adjusted EBITDA was 91.6 million euros, a 16% decrease year-on-year. Total reported revenue was 387.0 million euros, a 10% decrease. CEO Mor Weizer stated that the company is on track to exceed expectations for the year and aims to achieve ambitious growth targets by 2024, with plans to increase investment in the US and Brazil in the second half for continued growth.
