Elon Musk predicts Tesla's (TSLA) humanoid robot could reach $4 trillion

Elon Musk said Tesla’s (TSLA) humanoid robot, Optimus, could account for 80% of the company’s valuation, potentially lifting it to $4 trillion. Wall Street analysts estimate the humanoid robot market could reach $5–7 trillion.

Musk targets annual production of one million Optimus units within five years, but faces hurdles from steep sales goals and growing competition. Tesla, with a current market cap above $1 trillion, could also contend with the emerging robotaxi market, projected to be worth $10 trillion by 2030.

Musk’s outlook suggests Tesla may evolve into a robotics company, shifting investor perception beyond its electric vehicle roots.
