Federal officials are investigating Boeing following a midflight incident with a jetliner last week. The investigation is focusing on plugs used to fill spots for extra exits on Boeing 737 Max 9 jetliners. The FAA has grounded the jets until inspection guidelines are developed. Alaska Airlines has canceled all Max 9 flights.
