The investment in Metaplanet Inc. is Kindly MD’s largest single investment to date and its first in an Asian public company with a Bitcoin treasury strategy, aiming to acquire a significant amount of Bitcoins and expand Bitcoin’s net asset value.
Chairman and CEO David Bailey praised Metaplanet’s commitment to financial innovation and global Bitcoin adoption, positioning the company as a leader in Japan’s Bitcoin landscape and a global corporate Bitcoin strategies pioneer.
