Corn futures closed higher on Thursday, with contracts up 2 to 3 cents. There were 154 deliveries against September corn futures. The national average cash corn price was $3.75. Export Sales data showed 539,900 MT of corn sold, with Mexico and Japan as top buyers. Brazil’s corn production for 2024/25 was raised to 139.67 MMT. Corn prices closed at $3.99, $3.75, $4.19 3/4, and $4.37 1/4 for Sep 25, Nearby Cash, Dec 25, and Mar 26 respectively. Austin Schroeder had no positions in mentioned securities.
